Meet Sophia

Sophia Jones, RDN, LD

I’ve been a Registered Dietitian for more than 8 years, working in settings ranging from acute and inpatient rehab to outpatient eating disorder care, sports nutrition, and individual coaching.

I specialize in helping people heal from eating disorders and disordered eating, and in supporting athletes with performance nutrition, RED-S, and injury prevention.

As an avid runner myself, from the 800m all the way to ultramarathons, I understand the mental, emotional, and physical challenges that come with training.

At home, I’m married to a wild lumberjack entrepreneur and have two very energetic young kids. And one day, you’ll find me running the Tour du Mont Blanc… and enjoying every bit of the incredible food along the route.

My Nutrition Philosophy

As a nutrition professional and someone who works with athletes and active people, my approach is rooted in helping you build a positive, sustainable relationship with food - no diets, no food rules, no guilt.

I don’t believe in restricting or obsessing over weight or body shape. Instead, we focus on what you can add to support performance, recovery, and overall well-being. That might mean more fuel, more variety, or more freedom to enjoy food without stress.

I encourage tuning in to your body’s signals, honoring hunger, and letting go of the “good vs. bad food” mindset. Food is fuel, yes, but it’s also meant to be satisfying and enjoyable.

Whether you’re training for your first marathon or just looking to improve health outcomes, I’m here to support a flexible, body-respecting approach that helps you feel strong, energized, and confident on and off the run.

Why Work with Me?

My passion for helping clients build a healthier relationship with food comes from my own journey. After spending over a decade struggling with disordered eating and rigid food rules, I’ve done the hard work to heal and now I’m healthier, stronger, and still chasing big goals on the trails.

As a runner, I’ve completed races up to 100K and have my eyes on mountainous 100-milers in the next year. Through years of training and racing, I’ve learned firsthand what it really takes to fuel well for performance, endurance, recovery, and everyday life. Whatever your goal is, I’m here to help you fuel with confidence and freedom.

I combine lived experience with evidence-based guidance to support you in finding a nutrition plan that works for you in training, in racing, and in life. Ready to start? Reach out by submitting the contact form below!
